eReaders Available for Check Out
Try Before You Buy!
The Ocean Shores Public Library has received a grant from the Washington State Library to provide access to eReaders for the community. The library currently has two Kindles and one Nook available for borrowers to check out for a two week period. Each device comes preloaded with a different variety of books for the borrower to enjoy.
The eReaders can be placed on hold using the library’s online Catalog. To locate them, search for "eReader", "Kindle" or "Nook". The list of books available on each eReader is available by clicking on the individual device in the search results. The library circulation desk also has the complete listing.
Borrowers are required to be 18 years or older and should bring their Ocean Shores Public Library card and a valid picture ID to the library when they are ready to check a device out. This is a great opportunity to try out an eReader before making any decision to buy!
For more information about eReaders, please contact Keitha Owen by phone at 360-289-3919 or by email at keitha@osgov.com.
