Programs for Teens
Check the online calendar of events or stop in at the library front desk for more information about programs and events. Attendance at any of the library events indicates permission for the Ocean Shores Public Library to use photographs or videos taken of you or your children for the purpose of promoting the library and its services. Programs for all ages are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean Shores Public Library.
Virtual Reality (VR)
Saturday, July 20th, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

A whole world of immersive experiences awaits! Come Experience VR, from experiences like a tour of the International Space Station, walking on the beach, or be in the middle of the action in a 360 degree video. Enjoy immersive games that allow you to fly a plane, or be a chef at a fancy restaurant.
Spots are limited call or visit the library to reserve your experience.
AGES 13 AND UP.
D&D Game Night
Fridays from 4:30 - 7:30 PM. July 26th & August 2nd, 16th, 23rd. No D&D August 9th.
Want to play Dungeons and Dragons but don't have group of people to play with? The library has all the materials you'll need to play, all you need to bring is a desire to adventure! This program is open to everyone ages 10 and older. No prior experience with D&D is required, players of all experience levels are welcome!
Teen Summer Reading Program Finale
Friday, August 9th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Teens in grade 7-12 who have all of their ‘passport stamps’ for summer reading, are eligible to win prizes donated by local businesses. There will also be karaoke, video games, and snacks.
Collection Highlights : Graphic Novels
What used to be called Comic Books have graduated into Graphic Novels and the library has an extensive collection in the Young Adult Area. A large portion of these are ‘Manga’ a very popular graphic novel style from Japan that you read backwards! There is action, romance, and fantasy. Check it out!
