Teen Planning Committee
The Ocean Shores Library established a Teen Planning Committee (previously the Teen Advisory Board) in 2003. This board is made up of 6th - 12th grade students who want to get involved in supporting the Ocean Shores Public Library.
The committee meets once a month and helps staff plan teen events, as well as assists in selecting new teen fiction, music, movies, and manga. The hours spent volunteering on the TPC count toward school community service hours. It is also a good activity to list on a job resume or college application.
